1. Tampa General Hospital Demonstration
We’ve contacted TGH to do a demonstration for women and children. We plan on letting the patients drive around robots.
2. Austin Davis Library Demonstration
In July, we drove around robots and let bystanders drive robots. We explained how we designed and constructed these robots
3. Bloomingdale High School
Hydra was a preceptor to Bloomingdale “Mechanical bulls”. We allowed their members to join our facebook group, where we post design, build, and teamwork tips as well as our engineering notebook logs and activities
4. Strawberry Crest High School
Strawberry Crest High was a rookie team that started last year. We allowed their members to join our facebook group, where we post design, build, and teamwork tips as well as our engineering notebook logs and activities.
5. Lockhart Elementary
We plan on driving and letting them drive our robots. Additionally, we plan on applying their school curriculum to our designs to inspire further education in STEM
6. Relay for Life
We developed robots to walk around the track around us. Additionally, we developed buttons to sell. All money went towards fighting cancer

On our website, we post our progress weekly in addition to our robot specifications and strategies. This will assist teams looking for help

On our facebook page, we put comedic and educational, engineering related posts. We hope this will attract people towards STEAM
9. Vex Forums
In the forums, we assist other teams with their robots and publicly document our robot. So far, our thread has over 28,000 views.
10. Lockheed + Raytheon + Magic ear
We ask for assistance from Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, and Magic Ear for opinions on designs. We also offer to demonstrate our robots. As a rule in hydra however, the team is student run.
11. Hillsborough High School Engineering Class
The robotics team is holding STEM classes and gathering funds to start an engineering class at Hillsborough High school. We’ve contacted various administrators to further plan this class.
12. Science Olympiad Assistance
The Science Olympiad team started last year at Hillsborough High School. We helped them construct machinery and get sponsors.
13. T-Shirt Cannon
At football games, we shoot club shirts of other clubs. By doing this, we raise enthusiasm and advertise our fellow groups at Hillsborough.
14. Hillsborough High School Demonstration
During major events such as open house, the team drives robots and discusses how we apply STEM our activities and recruit members.
15. Bar Camp
Bar camp was a technology convention where we demonstrated our robot in front of other teams and techies. We caught the eye of a county commissioners Mark Sharpe and inspired individuals to start robotics teams.
16. Tampa Bay Inventors Club
The Tampa Bay Inventors Club is a group of professional engineers who try their best to make the next leading product. We demonstrated our robot to show what the youth can do
17. TeamHydraRobotics Youtube Channel
We post videos on our youtube channel to show the world our ideas. Now only does this help other teams, it helps us get feedback. Right now, the channel has over 13,000 views and 40 subscribers/
18. Team Seahawks Robotics
Team Seahawks robotics is a rookie team in vex. We helped the team through problems they faced on their.
The team was invited to a demonstration at hackerspace. During the demo, we let people drive our robot.
20. Florida Vex Teams
Florida Vex Teams is a Facebook group where we are trying to unite teams in Florida. We hope this will raise the overall competitiveness in Florida.
21. Solita’s House
We demonstrated our robots at Solita’s House, a non-profit devoted to spreading financial literacy.
22. Hosting Competitions
We host robotics competitions at our high school and use our Frisbee shooter and t-shirt cannon as demonstration robots.
